Spring 2015 Playoffs!

The CTBL went with a College World Series-style double-elimination playoff for the first round, with 8 teams vying for a spot in the championship series.  In one bracket the #2 seed Titans cruised into the second weekend at 2-0 but fell to the Rangers, who forced the extra game on Sunday but ran out of pitching.

In the other bracket, the Mudcats swept into the title game by beating the Zephyrs 13-4. Jeremy Macklin, #27 on the Mudcats, hit 3 HR and drove in 10 RBI in a stelllar performance as they cruised.

The Championhip series will go all three games, as the Titans won Saturday 5-2 and the Mudcats evened the series with a 12-2 victory on Sunday. The final game is set for this upcoming weekend.

Spring 2015

Cost of the 2015 Spring season was $3900 per team for a 20-game season plus playoffs. Players interested in joining CTBL for the Fall season can register on the website. A deposit can be paid via PayPal. It is refundable if the player is not selected for a team.

CTBL is a wood bat league - no metal barrels. Wood, composite wood are legal. The move from metal to wood bats was per a vote of team managers in 2013.
